Motorbike Acciden

Motorbike Acciden

Riding a motorbike naturally makes you more vulnerable to other people's mistakes. The number of drivers who fail to check their mirrors or take the time to look for bikes before pulling out is scary. A lot of drivers will try and argue that it is the choice of each individual to ride a motor bike or not. The reality is that a motorbike has as much right to be on the road as a car.

Motorbike accidents can take almost any form. However, the likelihood is that whatever type of accident it is, it is likely to involve some sort of personal injury. For motorbikes, small road defects or small amounts of oil on the road can result in massive injuries. If you have been involved in an accident then, if it was not entirely your fault, you may be entitled to make a motorbike accident claim.

For you to have a claim for compensation an accident must not be completely your fault. If someone else's negligence partly caused your accident then it may be worth you pursuing a claim. The majority of motorbike accident claims are for accidents caused by either road defects or the negligence of car drivers. Councils are required to inspect roads at least once every 6 months. If this has not been done, or it has been done and nothing has been done about it then it is the council's negligence which is partly to blame. Equally, a small mistake by a car driver can cause serious injuries to someone on a bike. However, in both cases it is not the motorbike rider who is to blame and is therefore entitled to seek compensation.

Though motorbike accidents are often very different from car accidents you should treat them in a similar way. The most important thing to do following a motor bike accident is to phone the police. Even if the accident does not seem worth reporting to the police you should still do it. Firstly, this allows the police to begin gathering information about the accident and shows that you have been proactive and open about the accident. Secondly, and equally as important, is that it will mean that your accident will show up in motorbike accident statistics. Nearly 80% of reportable motorbike and cycle accidents are not reported in the UK. This means that, on paper, the government see motorbikes and cycles as being safe and will not take steps to make the roads safer for riders. By reporting your accident you are helping to draw attention to the large number of motor bike accidents on UK roads.

For most motorbike accident claims it will help your case enormously if you have taken photos of the scene. If your motorbike accident claim involves a road defect then you must try and photograph this as soon as possible, before it is repaired. As well as a photo you must try and find a witness who would be willing to testify in your favour should your case go to court.

motorcycle new design

A Wild New Three Wheeled Motorcycle

There's a wild new three wheeled motorcycle soon to land in the U.S. named the LX-Day Crawler. This wild new three wheeled motorcycle is also marketed under the Chinese Spider nameplate as well, and features a 250cc water cooled 4 stroke engine, 4 speed manual transmission and a very low $4,595 price tag.

chinese_spider.jpg

This wild new bike seems to be greatly inspired by a $50,000 Swiss built machine with four wheels that uses a BMW engine, but has had significant importation problems because European four wheeled motorcycles are classified as automobiles according to federal rules, making U.S. importation very difficult to impossible. This Chinese built machine faces less importation difficulties because it was three wheels, still an acceptable number for U.S. motorcycle regulations, and a proven low emission 4 stroke engine design that is more conventional in design than the radical BMW engine in the much higher priced Swiss machine.

chinese_spider5.jpg

Three wheeled motorcycles have some safety advantages over their two wheeled counterparts that include much better stability and safety as well the ability to stand upright at stops compared to conventional motorcycles.

chinese_spider2.jpg

With street legal designs and much lower prices than the ultra-priced European machines, Chinese motorcycle makers may be able to chip a new place into the U.S. market. Wild three wheeler bikes might just be the coming thing. Trikes were once considered a 1960's hallmark of a few custom bike lovers. But with a low $4,595 price tag, these new generation of trikes might just find a new generation of buyers.

There is a new Motorcycle Design Program at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Previously well known for their ability to churn out some outstanding automobile concepts, it seems that just recently a student named Jake Loniak is making some waves and bringing a lot of positive attention to this particular program. Another shot of this awesome looking bike after the jump, as well more info on how this baby can work.

The concept is called ‘Deus Ex Machina’ and it’s not your everyday motorcycle. It’s an exoskeleton, allowing the driver to “wear” the vehicle. 36 pneumatic ‘muscles’ maneuver the bike based on the rider’s movements, so it seems that you would not be able to eat a bagel, drink your coffee, or stay updated on your boss’s emails while commuting to work…unless of course you were able to blend all of that in a mixer and hook it up to a bendy straw.

What strikes me as the coolest part about this concept is the way it slides downward as it accelerates. Want to see how? Check out the Video @ Popular Science. In any case, I fully support Jake Loniak in whatever he decides to do in order to get this thing on the market. We need to see more TRON-esque bikes in this city anyway.

vyrus 984 c3

As the branch company of bimota, vyrus focused on lower cost two wheeled vehicle.
vyrus 984 c3 is the new bike from vyrus which i think its radically designed, and reffered as. ‘The New Motorcycle Design yearbook 3’ this version was called ‘the black rocket’ since all the alloy parts are anodized with black color.

NERO motorcycle concept

Ian Galvin and Craig Mackiewicz developed a new motorcycle design, the NERO, as their senior project at CCS, the College for Creative Studies. The pair forsees the possibility of a new golden age of motorcycles in America due to the convergence of factors such as traffic congestion and restrictions on fossil fuels. They believe a mid sized naked bike might best address those issues.

The NERO draws on the Vincent name for the qualities of performance, price and technology it embodied during its day. They pulled design influence from some obvious sources such as the Confederate Wraith and Renovatio plus John Britten's superbike.

I think the concept has a lot going for it, the girder front suspension and overall clean lines, but it looks to me as though the proportions are just a little off, either the wheels and tires are somewhat small or the rider sits very high. Looking at the one image they offer with riders on the bike, it seems like the center of gravity might be too high but maybe that's just me.

It is the modification of Honda tiger which is modified as an extreme rider. full of art and extremely complicated. can you determine what is the concept of this motor bike. by watching the back of the motor bike which is looked like tank weapon which usually used in the war. It is looked like my friend Honda tiger which is not modified. improvement machine, ahm, moge, speed range, performance improvement, business machines, similarity, chassis, urban areas, sprint, tiger, For business machines, and sasis is not changed. But there are positive things that can be taken here. 2000 Tiger Sasis you a quite evident, especially for use in the urban areas. Although the engine is not known Tiger is so fast and tend to slow, but for use in the city with a speed range of 60 – 80 km / hour guaranteed engine design the early 90an this is still quite adequate. Moreover, given the similarity in the basic design with the 2000 Tiger chassis both machines and make consumers and mechanical AHM is not difficult to replace parts or repair Tiger REVO.

Notes that can be used as is, AHM make motor with enough wonderful at once to cover the performance of the engine a bit less. Goods times AHM deduce from MOGE. Because MOGE generally have a great look and authoritative, MOGE not need to sprint or drag to indicate performance, just enough to be able to view only the performance of the MOGE is. On the basis of thought AHM feel this is enough only change the outside appearance Tiger REVO and ignore the technology and performance improvement machine.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX

Made for Wheelies

You have to love Kawasaki’s rationale for improving their already blisteringly-quick 2008 ZX-10R: Give the new components to Kawasaki’s Japanese Superbike rider Akira Yanagawa, have him thrash them to destruction in Japan’s super competitive All Japan Superbike series, any bits that pass the test then get given to the production test team, tweaked, adjusted and generally improved upon, then they are handed back to Yanagawa for more testing.

So, if you don’t like this year’s ZX-10, talk to Yanagawa, although from where I’m sitting, there’s not much wrong with it. Yanagawa himself gave it glowing reviews after his first test ride.

So what’s new for 2008? Pretty much everything actually. A new engine for starters, which includes secondary fuel injectors, oval throttle bodies and reshaped intake ports. A new exhaust system and ram air ducts to increase intake flow. A slipper clutch and improved gear ratios allow more aggressive down shifting and better power delivery.

And to go with the new engine is an all-new frame setup including a new two piece sub frame, a new swing arm (pressed instead of cast) longer steering tube, and increased strength to the main frame by using increased wall thicknesses, and changes to the frame stampings.

New forks, new rear shock, bigger, thinner brake discs and new wheels that are squeeze cast, whatever that is. And to top it all, a complete new styling package.

modification motor bike

The X 22 super bike is rapidly becoming quite popular among pocket bike enthusiasts as this model seems to have everything that a regular sized motorcycle is expected to have. Among these features include items such as front and rear hydraulic disk breaks, electric horn, front and rear suspension, blinkers, brake lights, headlights and so forth, so it seems that with all these and the other features included, it could very well be street legal right out of the crate... but is this really so? Or, are there any modifications needed in order to keep the X 22 super bike up to state specs?

Well, as far as the X 22 super bike (one of a group of small motorcycles known as "pocket bikes") is concerned, let's examine this in a bit of detail... because truth be told, regulations can vary a bit from state to state. The fact of the matter with most pocket bikes being illegal in some states is largely due to their tiny size, and the type of engine that it uses.

While the X 22 super bike uses a 110cc engine and thus, really isn't all that small overall, many pocket bikes can be small enough to pick up over your head, such as the 45cc class and electric motor driven ones. Clearly, these are simply far too dangerous to be zipping up and down busy public streets on, much less highways and such.

Therefore, the much larger variety pocket bikes such as the X 18, the X19 and the X 22 super bikes are actually quite safe, and use the same safety features as the larger variety motorcycles (such as standard (foot activated) and/or automatic transmission, brake and blinker lights, hydraulic disk brakes, standard volume horn, high and low beam halogen headlights, etc.).

Right out of the crate, these are perfectly street legal in most states (check your local DMV) - but are there any major modifications needed? No - one may however need to attach rear view mirrors in order to comply with safety regulations and get an inspection sticker for them, but other than that and depending on the state's local regulations, models like the X 22 super bike are perfectly street legal as is.

Now, once you establish the details through your local DMV, acquiring such a vehicle can be quite costly, as the market price for this particular model is around $800.00 or so, and adding the fact that it weighs close to 200 pounds without the shipping crate, the shipping cost can be a bit substantial, to say the very least. This is why ordering directly through the dealer can be beneficial, as the price of the vehicle can be quite a bit less (even as low as $715.00), and the dealer may also offer free shipping on top of it. If you'd like to reach just such a dealer, please visit my website which discusses the X22 super bike as well as other popular models.
